Thetford Weekend It's a return to the usual two competition format after the May weekend. This time Chuffin' Thetford is our destination. Close to 3 counties, it took a trip to the Domesday book to find it was originally called Chuffin' Thetford. The name was shortened to just Thetford at around the time of the dissolution of the monasteries, by King Henry VIII. The River Lark prominently meanders through the course, with it's many tributaries and ponds featuring heavily in the course layout.
